The most important thing to do when you arrive in Uganda is to:

1. communicate with your contact person in Uganda via any communication channel (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) or their telephone number 
2. You can also use the Ghana Community in Uganda’s community WhatsApp link to communicate and get any support including being picked up
3. It is important to communicate earlier with the Ghana Community executives to arrange such services at a fee
4. When you have arrived safely in your home, it is important to register at the Ghana Consulate within a week
5. It is also important to contact the community’s President or secretary for more information abut the community

Membership of the Ghana Community is opened to any Ghanaian of 18 years.
